Na Bole Tum: Season 2 “Tujhe Sab Hai Pata… Meri Maa”

Hello friends…….It’s been a long time since we wrote anything about Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha….but here we are, and how wouldn’t we since one of the most anticipated tracks on NBT is being aired currently.

So the Character who was introduced to us as Addu, along with Mohan goes to the Vyas House. You maybe wonder why we used the phrase “Character who was Introduced to us as Addu” well the episode did pave way for doubts if the one who entered the Vyas House with Mohan was indeed Addu, but apart from that the biggest factor that motivated to think otherwise was none other than Munna. Since day 1 everything about Munna has been strange. There is a lot of mystery surrounding the guy and with the way he has been trying to settle his scores with Mohan, trying to separate Megha and Mohan etc with the sudden change will only make one feel suspicious. Anyways the character has been introduced to us as Addu so we’ll keep it Addu.

What beautiful Gift can a mother receive on Mother’s Day, that the return of her Son who was kidnapped 12 Years back. Megha’s happiness knew no boundaries today when she say Addu stand before her, tears of happiness streaming down her cheeks it was like the whole world had come to a stand still that moment when Mohan announced that he had brought Megha her son, her Addu. The smile, the happiness was instantly replaced by tears but not of joy when Mohan reveals that Addu did not remember anything. Megha being a mother was finding it hard to believe that her son for got her, well which Mom in her place could take such a huge blow? Though it was shocking and saddening at first , the thought that her Son had returned back home to her once again takes over her and she hurries to get him something to drink, eat etc but cannot bring herself to do anything after seeing the state of her son. The scene that one would have recollected here was the letter that Megah received along with the muffler where Addu had mentioned that he missed home, that he did not like the food and that he was hungry and wanted to have the food made by her…..The anxiety in Megha’s actions was an indication of how Addu’s thought’s never left her mind, be it the ones before 12 Years, during the 12 Years or the ones that recently made way into their lives.

The Megha-Mohan scene like always was nothing less than Classic. Even in season one though they couldn’t stand each other, or when they were beginning to understand each other we have had plenty of scene like this where Megha ponders about something, then asks Mohan and Mohan tries to pacify her, give her more insight in the thought’s she was pondering upon etc……Similarly Megha was thinking about what had happened to her Addu, when Mohan walks in. He knew that it was a huge shock for Megha and he wanted to be there for her and make sure that she was OK. Like always Megha unable to comprehend what was happening asks Mohan as to what happened to Addu, why was he in such a state and Mohan though broken himself musters the courage to answer her. He tells her how they should have tried and retrieved him long back, and tells her all that he learned leaving an already broken Megha to shatter all the more…….but Mohan does not allow Megha to fall apart before Megha could loose herself Mohan asks her should he not have brought Addu? Those of you who have watched NBT Since day 1 , who are familiar with the characters, or who have started to learn the characters may have understood what Mohan was trying to do here, instead of him trying to give her confidence and instill faith, he made her admit to it…His one question brought back a determined Megha who tells him that their Addu was back, and now they would help their son out. The Hug between the two…Outstanding…In this context it highlights their promise to be with each other, to be each others driving force when the other tends to fall after all it wasn’t going to be a smooth journey.

Now coming to the most intriguing and crucial part of the episode Addu’s liking for Jiji and the comfort level they shared…….Addu turned violent every time somebody tried to hug him, or talk to him , or tell him who they were etc that goes for Megha, Navika, Renu and even Mohan (At the Asylum). Jiji was the only person whose hand he himself caught. He did not shoo her away, nor did he not turn violent around her…and was pretty much comfortable in her presence which we can deduce from the way Addu initiated lying down in Jiji’s Lap, the comfort level they shared was like the one he shared with Munna. While this happens on one side, on the other side we see Munna visit his Grandma, thanks to Mohan Bhatnagar, but the strange thing that happened here was Munna asking Ragini to not tell Dadda Ji anything as yet because he just met his Grandma.

Here is why we think it was intriguing…Of course the Munna part who is full of Mystery is always there…..It is highly unlikely of Addu to not recognize his mother or his Nanhi di and recognize his Jiji Bua……Not that it’s IMPOSSIBLE, its highly UNLIKELY…..Makes you wonder did Addu misunderstand Jiji for somebody else? Or more apt would be was it Addu in the first place? Same goes to Munna, while he was all happy and teary eyed when the News of Grandma being alive, and still waiting for her grandson to return back home for the past 12 years went on air, his reaction around his grandma was a complete contradiction, followed by his words to Ragini it makes you wonder was this really Munna? Why is he being so secretive? Munna definitely has more to him that what meets the eyes, and it would be interesting to see in the coming days as what this new revelation will bring in the lives of Mohan-Megha-Navika-Addu-Munna.

Coming to the star of the show hands down it was none other than Akanksha Singh. While Kunal Karan Kapoor does an amazing job too, it was Akanksha’s expressions, the way she emoted her feelings as a Mother that hogged all the limelight. The expression change in the start from confusion to disbelief to happiness on knowing Addu was back, the pain on knowing her son couldn’t remember anything related to his past etc were shots performed flawlessly by Akanksha. She shouldered the entire episode and that too to PERFECTION.

A very gripping and emotional episode, this is one you do not want to miss. Watch it for the phenomenal performances of the actors, brilliant screenplay and flawless execution. Oh and how could we miss the “Mystery” element added to the track ???
