Hey Ram! Best Friends with God himself – Heroines of 4 Lions Shows

Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon

We all pray to God. In times of need, in times of difficulties and in times of happiness. There is a Kabir doha which goes, “Dukh mein sumiran sab karein, Sukh mein karein na koi, Jo Sukh Mein Sumiran karein, Toh Dukh Kahe ko hoye!” It means, in times of difficulties, people remember God, if you remember God in every deed that you do, then why would anything seem difficult.

Geet - Hui Sabse Parayi

Perhaps the heroines of 4 Lions Films have taken into cognizance this and take God’s name in everything they do. Be it Babaji, Devi Maiyya, Gannuji or Allah Miya they have embraced God as their best friend. He is the first person they remember in anything they do. The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.
Suvreen Guggal

There is of course lot more in common among the heroines of 4 Lions shows besides the best friend, the God. While Geet Handa (Dharshti Dhami), Khushi Kumari Gupta (Sanaya Irani), Suvreen Guggal (Smiriti Kalra) or Zoya Farooqui (Surbhi Jyoti) talk to God, they are also essentially very impulsive people, head strong and have the joie de vivre that every girl who watches them on screen can identify with. Simple and down to earth, they make people feel good around them. They spread laughter and fun.
Humse Hai Life

Of course, there will be people who will say each of the characters of 4 Lions Films are same. We would say they are similar. Don’t we find people who are like us? Well, one can assume so is the case here or of course, the people who create them have thought of them in similar fashion. There are differences though subtle yet sure. Each goes through different set of experiences. One had to leave her family and find a life for herself, hence Geet – Hui Sabse Parayi. In Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, the girl falls in love with a man who is first committed to someone else but ends up marrying the man for her sister. In Suvreen Guggal, her spunk and determination leads her to new city where new friends and new enemies are part of her life and for Zoya Farooqui, she is in search of her roots.

Each story is a journey of a girl either from being a girl to womanhood, search for family or search for self. But all these girls have one thing in common. They believe in God. One of the biggest example of God fearing character in 4 Lions Films shows has been Anjali Jha played by Daljeet Bhanot who followed rituals to the T. Would you identify with her? Of course, Lovely Guggal, is another prime example of conducting poojas for the well being of her daughters or marks in Suvreen Guggal – Topper of the year. What makes one a devout follower of God? Is it faith, fear or forbearance?

We want to know if you believe in God, destiny and how you relate to these girls if at all. What about these girls you like and don’t like?

Qubool Hai

You have watched other shows of 4 Lions Films, be is Sia played by Abigail Jain in Humse Hai Life who was determined to succeed as a boxer which was her passion or girl like Aayesha Kapoor played by Shital Shah in Arjun – Har Yug Mein Aayega Ek who has found a place in what is essentially a man’s world or the latest additions of Liza D’cruz played by Ritu Chauhan or Sakshi Anand played by Mrunal Thakur who have science and research as their mettle.  What about Roshni played by Samiksha or Riya played by Sana Khan? Do you think any of these girls believe in God?
Lets talk.
