Pratyusha Banerjee as Bengali girl with Vatal Seth in new serial

The shy girl Pratyusha Banerjee has bagged a role of a Bengali untitled serial.

It is reported that the team will start shooting in Kolkata from May 20 and will stay there for a month.

Pratysha has been seen in Balika Vadhu as Anandi the bride.

Pratysha is from Jamshedpur, was a student at St. Xavier’s College at Kolkata before she got a role in Balika Vadhu as Anandhi.

However the role she will be playing this time is very cosmopolitan and a lot more challenging, will wear Indo western dresses unlike the bahu of Balika Vadhu.

Vatal Seth will be playing the lead role. Vatsal has done many films like Taarzan and currently shooting for Salman Khan’s Mental.

Though nothing has yet been finalized about this soap he said he would be playing a lead roleon the show. He said he has got a lot more offers and cannot discuss them.

Pratyusha has been in the news lately as she exited from Balika Vadhu.

Rumours say that she was dropped off the cast but she says she left on her own.

She naturally grabbed this newsoap as it has Bengali settings, so Anandi can stay behind.
