Pratyusha Banerjee alias ex-Anandi turns modern girl for new daily soap

Mumbai: Small screen actor Pratyusha Banerjee, who shot to fame with her traditional conservative role of bahu in popular daily soap Balika Vadhu, will now be seen in a different avatar in her upcoming telly serial.

ck on television and this time Miss Banerjee will don a new look for her show.

Banerjee will play the character of a modern girl in her new daily soap which is set up in Kolkata. This time Pratyusha will not don heavy lehnga-choli but the actor will wear Indo-western outfits, quite different from Anandi. 

Interestingly, Pratyusha is Bengali in her real life too. 

Pratyusha's exit from Balika Vadhu came as a big shock and disappointment for her fans. The TRP of the show dropped drastically as the viewers denied accepting her replacement Toral Rasputra and demanded to bring back Prats on the show.

Post her exit, there were rumors that Pratyusha stepped out of the show due to a movie offered by filmmaker Vikram Bhatt but Banerjee rubbished the reports. 

However, the actor admitted that she was offered a movie but she turned down it because things did not get well. She also revealed the reason behind her exit from the show and said that her mother was unwell so she wanted to spend time with her. 

If sources are to be believed, Pratyusha's new show will be aired on Star Plus. Well, Prats your return will definitely a good news for your fans, who are eagerly waiting to see you back on television.
