Mumbai: In past few years, television's popularity has soared and reached heights and the credit goes to our small screen actresses as our telly serials are always women centric. The story revolves around them which take them through the roller coaster of emotions.
Our actresses shed a bucket full of tears every day, for example Tulsi Virani of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thiand Parvati Agarwal of Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki who loved to do everything themselves and later getting into trouble. But it was a decade ago.
Today the same thing is getting repeated by our new Bahus like Anandi, Madhubala, Gopi, Simar, Rolli and Bhoomi. It is the same old story plots and character sketches of women that are being revived and shown to the viewers. Be it a protagonist or a vamp, women seem to be enjoying the ultimate spotlight.
Currently, Simar from Sasural Simar Ka is following the footsteps of Tulsi and Parvati by doing everything without taking her family in confidence, making the viewers ready for the next teary performance.
Besides Simar, our Madhu from Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon is on the same track. At present, she is playingprem game 2 with lots of emotional tadka.
Amusingly, women protagonists are shown as one of the strongest character in the story and on the other hand they will be seen helpless in every situation that comes in their way.
Well, it simply proves that in the name of entertainment our daily soap makers are serving Old wine in a new bottle.
